Filmr is a video editing app focused on mobile devices.
In 2020, Filmr boasted over 600,000 active users globally and was available in more than 25 languages. It received high praise from its user base, earning a 4.7 rating on the App Store. Filmr was also recognized as one of Apple's Apps of the Year in 2019.
At the end of 2020, it was clear that the app would only grow, and new products would enter their line-up. The team needed to migrate their components to a new platform and develop a fully-fledged design system. I participated in the project to help guide them in this endeavour.

Focus on what’s important.
Our main goal was to create a common ground for creation with the whole team, take their existing assets, and make them more accessible for future use. This involved documenting all current patterns and getting rid of superfluous ones, besides moving everything to a new platform.
